Glenwood Springs Seeking Volunteers for City Boards and Commissions - Could This Be You?

Glenwood Springs is looking for volunteers to serve on several city advisory boards and commissions.

Powers and duties for each board or commission are included with the application form, which can be found on the city’s website at http://www.cogs.us, or obtained from the City Clerk’s office at Glenwood Springs City Hall, Suite 325.

The following vacancies need to be filled:

Parks and Recreation Commission – two regular seats and one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2017

Building Board of Appeals – one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2018

Financial Advisory Board – one regular seat with a term to expire February, 2018

Tourism and Promotion Board – one regular seat representing lodging with a term to expire February, 2019

Planning and Zoning Commission – one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2018

Transportation Commission – one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2018

Victims and Witnesses Assistance and Law Enforcement Board (VALE) – one alternate seat with terms to expire February, 2018
